the view

	the view

the wall unzipped the passing scene
I watched the whole game
with the detachment of a window.
	the talkers,
			the lookers,
	the hard-guys,
			the unglued,
	the knowing,
			the unwilling,
	the perplexed,
			the passionate,
	the dropped,
			the kicked.
The characters
	play-acting
		all those details.
The outside world
	spreading
		like darkness.
I was just about to break the silence,
	to say something...
When one star looked inside.

I shifted my position
	and winked back.
