cast stone

Cast stone

Go ahead!
Cast a righteous stone
aimed at my something wrong.
Take a long hard shot
in my murky dark.
But put a little bait on it first
and maybe you'll catch me
hungry.

Go on!
Cast a second stone.
Make it one of quality this time.
Something that might get through
my iron door.
Or try a feather
and maybe you'll catch me
laughing.

Now go!
And take your stones.
It's your weight, not mine.
I've had enough of you
chipping my concrete.
But come back soon
and maybe you'll catch me
outside.
