2 right feet

Two right feet

Maybe it was a turning point
or maybe a retreat.
A change of mind
or heart.
Something forgotten
then remembered.
A decisive moment
or a moment's indecision.

Maybe it was two people,
two right feet
with the same shoe,
on the same day,
walking in opposition,
their crossing paths,
frozen forever.

But who steps in wet concrete
by accident?

No one.
I think someone wanted
to make their mark
and their waffled sole
said it best.
